CyberShare Working Group Elects 2024 Executive Committee

CyberShare: The Small Broadband ISAC is a member-driven information-sharing platform that helps small broadband providers recognize, analyze and respond to vulnerabilities, threats and other risks. Much of our work is driven by the CyberShare Working Group, a 12-member advisory body comprised of ISAC participant volunteers who meet monthly to help direct the priorities of CyberShare and offer guidance on cybersecurity technical matters.

The CyberShare Working Group recently elected its 2024 executive committee leading CyberShare strategic initiatives.

Jerry Horton, director of technology and cybersecurity at Blue Valley Tele-Communications, Inc. (Home, Kan.), will serve as chair, and Frank Bulk, COO and CTO of Premier Communications (Sioux Center, Iowa), will serve as vice chair.

Horton has over 35 years of information technology and cybersecurity experience in the telecommunications, financial, healthcare, agricultural and manufacturing industries. Throughout his career, Horton has earned numerous certifications in networking, security, operating systems and applications, and he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Ethical Hacker.

Bulk oversees the field and technical teams at Premier, ensuring active engagement with key partners and vendors, while maintaining close involvement with Premier’s affiliates and partnerships. Previously, he was a contributing editor for Network Computing Magazine, covering mobility and wireless technologies, and the Network Administrator at Dordt University.
