About CyberShare

The CyberShare program is growing in value and necessity.

Based on a pilot program administered by NTCA in 2019 — with funding from the Department of Homeland Security that was administered by the National Institute of Hometown Security — CyberShare was introduced in 2020 to fill a gap in the intelligence sharing community to specifically help small broadband providers protect their networks through an intelligence sharing community.

Why CyberShare?

CyberShare participants are privy to information about security threats, including alerts and cybersecurity bulletins; daily and weekly reports that include key security incidents, events and vulnerabilities; and technical analysis collected from a variety of public, nonpublic and government sources. They receive information on active exploits and mitigation techniques. Members can participate in bimonthly calls with other members and experts in the field and can access CyberShare’s secure forum where participants are encouraged to network and share directly with peers.
